Arthur Murray Dance Centers are sponsoring AM Charity Fund’s eighth annual star-studded gala, Dancing with the Twin Cities Celebrities charity ball, on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at the beautiful Minneapolis Marriott City Center Hotel.
For the first time ever, Dancing with the Twin Cities Celebrities will feature a theme. To commemorate the life and legacy of our own iconic Twin Cities’ legend, Prince Rogers Nelson, this year’s charity ball will embrace the ‘Minnesota sound’ we all know and love while dancing to Prince’s greatest hits.

“Prince music and dancing goes hand in hand. We would like to celebrate his music but also recognize that he loved the Twin Cities. Prince was all about giving back to the community especially to the arts. Thanks to Prince for his great dance music and that we can continue his spirit of giving back by raising funds for all of the wonderful causes represented by our celebrities,” says Lynda Smith, Studio Director at Arthur Murray Dance Center and President of the AM Charity Fund.

Our Twin Cities celebrities train and pair up with Arthur Murray professionals to compete to become the Dance for the Cause Champion and raise money for their favorite charity. The Dancing with the Twin Cities Celebrities night will feature a Meet and Greet with our local celebrities, a live auction, silent auction, fabulous food, terrific professional shows and lots of dancing!

This year’s Dancing with the Twin Cities celebrities line-up and their selected charities include: Kim Perry dancing for the Diverse Daisies Foundation, Nicole Middendorf dancing for the Caregiver’s Support Network, Jake Travis dancing for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Mark Parrish dancing for Birdies4Brains, and Hans Johnson dancing for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
